Are you applying as a Trainee?

Step 1: Online application form

Filling in the application form is very easy – you can complete it on most devices and save your progress until you are ready to submit. We’ll need some details about you as well as electronic copies of your certificates.

Step 2: Online tests

If your initial application is successful, you’ll need to complete a small number of online assessments. You’ll be able to take a break between each assessment and these will be fully explained to you on the email you receive before you take them.

Step 3: Telephone interview

The telephone interview is a competency based interview. It is your chance to demonstrate your motivation for applying for the role and how your skills and experience have equipped you for this position.

Step 4: Assessment Centre

The Assessment Centre comprises of a role play, a manual dexterity test and a colour blindness test. If you are successful we’ll be in touch to make an offer and agree a tentative start date. Once accepted, and we’ve carried out our pre-employment checks, we’ll confirm the details of your first day and induction.

Are you Gas or Dual Fuel qualified already?

If you meet our initial eligibility criteria, we’ll ask you to provide us with some additional details including electronic copies of your certificates.

(Please note, if you're Dual Fuel qualified already, the online test step doesn’t apply to you - you’ll go from step 1 straight to step 3!)
